On May 11, the second plenary meeting of the eighth Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Committee was successfully held at MIC. Over 50 attendees, including school leaders, teacher representatives, and PTA committee members, participated in the meeting.
Principal Feng then presented a report on the school's work. Statistics showed that 98% of the 2025 graduating class have received offers from the top 100 universities in the QS World University Rankings. The school has been awarded the title of "China's Most Competitive International School" for several consecutive years. In the new academic year, the school will focus on strengthening campus safety management, caring for students' physical and mental health, strengthening the cultivation of excellence and support for the weak, optimizing the model of tiered teaching, and enriching the activities of student clubs.
Ms. Leung, President of the Parents' Committee, then delivered a keynote speech. Taking Mother's Day as an opportunity, she used the metaphor "each child is a unique plant" to emphasize that parents should respect differences and support their children's growth through recognition and companionship. She also highlighted the traditional activity for graduating classes, "Donating a Phoenix Tree," and invited PTA members to participate, leaving a beautiful memory for the graduates.
Following the meeting, participants attended a networking dinner. The school administration stated that it would continue to deepen the home-school cooperation mechanism to provide a better educational environment for students' growth. It is reported that this meeting was one of the important home-school activities at MIC this semester, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of education and teaching work.
