Holistic education is not literally "big and comprehensive", but based on students' personalized growth and future development needs. It should be implemented in combination with students' personality, characteristics, strengths and future professional development direction. Every student is unique. Every student has his or her own talent and talent. We can't use the same standard and fixed model to cultivate students. We can't just focus on academic achievements and ignore leadership, critical thinking, practical ability, cooperation spirit, striving spirit, benevolence spirit, cross-cultural understanding, scientific literacy, artistic literacy, and vice versa. The achievement of academic achievements and the cultivation of comprehensive literacy are also complementary and mutually reinforcing.
In Meilun, we have established two major international curriculum systems: IGCSE&ALevel and Canada BC. These two international curriculum systems each have their own advantages and characteristics, suitable for different students. We will strictly select and cultivate teachers according to international curriculum standards, conduct teaching research, teaching evaluation, and organize exams. On this basis, we will carry out hierarchical and classified teaching, carry out the work of cultivating excellent students and assisting weak ones, and strive to improve students' subject grades, English proficiency, and application abilities.
In order to promote and support students' personalized development and the cultivation of their comprehensive abilities, we support and assist students in independently forming clubs, conducting diverse club activities and competitions, and encouraging students to showcase themselves on more and larger platforms. We encourage, guide, and support students to participate in various types of international subject competitions, laboratory research projects, volunteer activities, world-renowned (online) summer schools, top university academic summits, etc., to further cultivate students' comprehensive competitiveness such as academic literacy, scientific spirit, leadership, and social responsibility.
The school is a big family and a community. We hope that all faculty, parents, organizations and individuals who support and care for us will be student-centered, with the goal of students' growth and development, follow educational laws, and work together to safeguard students' growth and development.
