This time, the editor will share with you the tips about computer-based IELTS writing.

As we all know, IELTS writing is a relatively difficult to score in IELTS alone, for us, want to improve writing, in addition to more practice, more scope, logical ability training is still very necessary. In addition to these points, in fact, there are some problems that are easy to be ignored by students, and there are also points that are easy to be deducted, today I will explain the following two points to you:

1. Compared with the traditional paper-based test, the neatness of the paper test will be greatly improved. Students no longer have to worry about handwriting affecting your roll score. However, the teacher still needs to emphasize to you here that when you practice IELTS writing, you still need to pay attention to the importance of writing format. The format of English formal writing can be divided into "top format" and "back format", if the top format is selected, the natural paragraphs need to be separated by a paragraph; If you choose a backcast (i.e., the first paragraph of each line is empty two blocks before you start writing), there is no need to separate natural paragraphs from each other. Let's take a look at the example provided by the teacher, and you should also keep the formatting habits in mind when doing writing exercises at home recently:

2. Pay attention to the rules of punctuation. IELTS teachers find that they will mistakenly use some punctuation when changing everyone's essays, and the correctness of these punctuation marks in computer-based writing will be more prominent than that of paper-based tests. Therefore, students need to pay attention to the use of half-width punctuation marks in English writing, and all commonly used punctuation marks - commas and periods cannot be spaced in front of them, and spaces must be followed by spaces; You can take a look at the following error examples, where is wrong?

Switzerland is the second greatest in selling coffee , in which it improved to 6 millions. UK had the largest developed of sales of coffee among the five countries. It had 1.5 millions in 1999 and 20 millions in 2004.

These small details mentioned above should not be careless, because IELTS is an academic test, so the answers must be standardized. Students should develop the habit of self-examination! There are many more such writing rules, and our writing teacher will explain and emphasize them one by one in the next IELTS writing class in the school.
