As the first part of the IELTS test, IELTS listening will directly affect the level of answering questions later, and its importance is extraordinary. In order to help students achieve the ideal listening score in a limited time, we will take two steps in the next lesson.

The first step is to go straight into the blind spot of students, comprehensively eliminate illiteracy, and establish a knowledge structure.

A. Correct the phonetic problems in students' daily communication one by one, and solve the problems of students' continuous reading, loss of explosion, and confusion between singular and plural s/z.

BMemorize words in combination with sounds. The foundation stage requires students to memorize a large number of listening background words, answer words, and synonymous substitutions. Unlike in the past, students memorizing words is no longer simply writing and drawing Chinese meaning. Listening memorization focuses more on students' phonetic sensitivity to each word.

Through the combination of the above two aspects, we lay a solid foundation for helping students score.

Step 2: Four regular question types, in-depth analysis one by one, a variety of problem-solving skills, there is always one suitable for you.

The four general question types mainly include, fill-in-the-blank questions (accounting for 40% or more of the scaled score); Multiple choice questions, which also cover single-choice questions and multiple-choice questions; Map questions, mainly divided into two types: map filling questions and addressing questions; Matching questions, the most reflective of the student's strength among many question types. In view of the different characteristics of the above topics, in the process of teaching, help students find the most suitable method to accurately find the answer. For example, in the process of answering multiple-choice questions, the early examination of questions is particularly important, and this is often what students tend to overlook. Most students simply cannot grasp the core of the question, and even start marking the question without seeing what they ask clearly, seriously misleading their answers. In response to students' questions, we recommend that students must first calm down to see the requirements of the question, quickly browse the question at least three times, form a short memory, listen to the question with the question instead of roughly drawing keywords to generalize, pay attention to the common trap of "sound east and west" in the process of listening, and use the elimination method to accurately find the answer.

As long as the students step by step, follow the pace of the teacher, complete the task as required, and actively cooperate, I believe that IELTS listening will no longer be a burden for everyone, and the students will definitely achieve the ideal excellent results!
