After a happy holiday, Meilun students brought good memories of winter vacation life, enjoyed the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival that had not yet dissipated, and at the same time ushered in the opening ceremony of the new semester with longing for the new semester!
This morning (February 2th), Meilun International Education held the opening ceremony of the second semester of the 6-2022 academic year, and all teachers and students participated in the event.
Accompanied by the majestic sound of the national anthem and the rising five-star red flag, the opening ceremony kicked off.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Feng Xiaosheng, President of Meilun International Education, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, welcoming the students back to school on behalf of the school to start a new semester and a new journey.
"Just a classmate and a young man, the style is gorgeous, the book business is angry, and he scolds Fang Xuan. I hope that in the new year, students will set up lofty ideals, set great aspirations, do great things, let birds fly high in the sky, and leap with fish in the sea. "President Feng hopes that the students will pursue their dreams and develop their own strengths through hard work, and firmly believe that they have the power to become better, self-confident, hard-working, and be a better version of themselves.
“Learning is a treasure that will follow the owner everywhere.” Mr. O'Brien, President of BC, quoted a proverb in his speech, reminding students to understand that only they can decide how much wealth they have in life, and encouraged everyone to concentrate, set goals and work hard towards goals in the new semester, and Meilun's teachers will do their best to help everyone.
Subsequently, Mr. Wang Xiaokun, President of the UK Division, also borrowed Meilun's "4C" educational philosophy - Cheerful, Cooperative, Creative, Truth-seeking and Challenging, expressing his expectations for the new semester, hoping that everyone will know how to cherish time, take the initiative and try, and do their best to meet challenges.
At the opening ceremony, Meilun International officially launched the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program to help students develop comprehensively and cultivate students' core competencies such as leadership, collaboration, research spirit, risk-taking spirit, service awareness, responsibility awareness, critical thinking and global vision.
