As a "young" new school, Meilun International has no historical baggage, which is why the school has been trying to be more flexible and efficient in management, and constructing teaching models according to the individual characteristics of students.

Meilun International will prepare scholarships for particularly outstanding students, but it does not mean that it adopts a "pinching" model in terms of recruitment, but hopes to teach according to aptitude through international education. At present, Meilun International offers British A-level courses, British Columbia high school courses and American AP elective courses.

 

At present, many new international schools are mainly based on A-level courses, and Meilun International is also the same, offering 16 A-level courses for students. Principal Leung said that emerging international schools will choose to introduce a more mature international curriculum system at the beginning, and the British A-level curriculum is just in line with the British A-level curriculum, which belongs to Yangchang education, which can help students reach their maximum potential. At present, more and more families choose to study in the UK, because the development of the UK is relatively more stable and safe.

 

But students have different needs, and schools need to cater to every student as much as possible. Meilun International opened two Canadian classes in Grade 10 this year, and Meilun International is the first school in Guangdong Province to offer an offshore high school program in British Columbia, Canada. The Canadian curriculum rejects a lifelong examination, which is a formative evaluation system, which is conducive to cultivating the comprehensive quality of students, and the results of Canadian high schools can also be used to apply to universities in mainstream countries around the world. Many of the graduates of Meilun International's first Canadian class received university scholarships.

At present, Meilun International only has the high school stage, in order to allow students who received compulsory education before to adapt to the international curriculum as soon as possible, Meilun International will arrange 2-3 weeks of freshman experience camp before enrollment, so that they can transition and adapt to the pure English environment and original international high school curriculum in advance. After the start of school, Meilun International will give students one month to choose courses and audition, and only after one month will they decide to read 3-4 courses. Avoid students from misjudging because they are in too much haste.

 

Since the Canadian curriculum is taught by all foreign teachers, and the A-level course is only bilingual in the lower grades of science, the school provides free IELTS classes and regularly conducts language tests. For some students with weak language foundation or unable to keep up with individual subjects, Meilun International will provide separate tutoring classes. In addition, Meilun International also set up a tutor system, each teacher is responsible for 3-4 students, in addition to learning, while giving students humanistic care.

 

Meilun International has an independent college counseling team, which will carry out college counseling classes, college salons and one-on-one services every week.
