Most of the contemporary high school students are "Internet natives", whether students or parents have a significant increase in daily "screen time", parents and children lack effective communication, parent-child relationship is not as good as before, so how to improve parent-child relationship, create a good family atmosphere, so that children can grow up healthier?
On November 11th, Meilun International Education and Shenzhen Cihang Nasheng Charity Foundation held a parent-child public welfare activity of "Hand in Hand in Hand and Heart, Grow with Love" in the school gymnasium. The event attracted nearly 29 groups of families to participate, and many students, parents, and teachers sacrificed their weekend rest time and put aside other affairs to participate in this immersive parent-child experience activity. Through small projects such as "The Invisible Bondage of Love", "80 Minute Live Friends", "Appreciation and Gratitude Blue Ribbon", "Ideal Puzzle" and other small projects, students and parents can re-recognize themselves, examine the parent-child relationship, learn to be grateful and share, and learn to better move towards the future and chase their dreams.
The parent-child activity starts at 7:30 am and ends at 6:10 pm. In the morning, students, parents, and teachers were arranged to wear different colors of clothing, and parents and children walked hand in hand across the red carpet and walked in. Inside the gymnasium, all participants danced and relaxed under the guidance of volunteers. President Liang Ruijuan delivered a speech before the official start of the event, calling on all participants to actively experience, feel in the activity, and improve in the activity.
Teacher Zhang Junsheng of Cihang Nasheng Charity Foundation guided the participants to carry out various activities one by one: in the "Invisible Bondage of Love" session, let everyone realize the source, severity and solution of "invisible bondage" in the process of children's growth; In the "1-minute on-site making friends" session, let everyone change their attitude, make as many friends as possible and break through themselves in a limited time; In the "ideal puzzle" session, let everyone understand that when solving problems, we must learn to cooperate with others, seek help, learn to share, and learn to balance taking and giving; In the "parent-child face-to-face" session, students can feel the changes of the years to their parents' faces, and feel their parents' love and dedication to themselves... This is a spiritual journey about love and growth, a unique and real experience, and every student, parent and teacher has different levels of understanding and gain at the end of the activity. Wu's mother said that this wonderful activity made her feel that her children have really grown up and learned to be grateful, and she feels guilty that she is busy with work and less to accompany her children. On November 29, MIC and Shenzhen Cihang Nasheng Charitable Foundation held a parent-child charity event in the school gymnasium, attracted nearly 80 groups of families to participate in. The activity was led by tutor Mr. Zhang. Through activities, students and parents can re-recognize themselves, strengthen the relation between parents and children , learn to be grateful and share, and learn to better pursue their dreams in the future.
This is a spiritual journey about love and growth, a truly unique experience. At the end of the event, every student, parent and teacher has different perception and gains.
Mother Wu said that this wonderful event made her feel that her children have really grown up and learned to be grateful. She felt guilty for being busy with work and not accompanying her children.
Student Liu also said that Mr. Zhang's enthusiastic speech and the active cooperation of his classmates pointed out the way for him to continue his school life: learning to rely on self-improvement and hard work, but also learn to cooperate and get along well with people around him.
