Introduction to the European Economics Olympiad
The European Economics Olympiad originated in the Czech Republic in 2016 and is organized by the Institute of Economic Education and supported by government agencies such as the Czech Ministry of Education, the Czech Central Bank, the Prague School of Economics, PricewaterhouseCoopers and other government agencies and famous enterprises. As an emerging international economics competition, more than 550 high schools in Hungary, Greece, Poland, Germany, France and other EU countries currently participate in 2,<> students every year, and the influence is expanding, and more EU countries have participated one after another. The European Economics Olympiad aims to help high schools promote economics-related education, exercise students' logical thinking, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and stimulate students' interest in academic and professional development of economics.
Institute of Economic Education The Institute of Economic Education (INEV) is a non-profit organization established by the Czech Ministry of Education and the Czech Central Bank to promote economics and financial education and train future economic and social leaders. INEV focuses on promoting the development of the European Economics Olympiad and the academic support of economics teachers.
Since 2020, ASDAN China (ASDAN College) has cooperated strategically with the Czech Society of Economic Education to exclusively host the "European Economics Olympiad" China area, recommending this excellent economics education activity for international middle school students to Chinese students.
