When writing this reminiscence article, I am very relieved, because the 12 "soldiers" of the BC Department G19 of Meilun International Canada have successfully completed their own "graduation battle", and I can finally let go of the "sweet" burden in my heart, let go of reminding them to send and receive school application emails, put down the daily morning check, put down the weekly class evaluation, let go... Let go of worrying about students all the time.

"First acquaintance" that cannot be forgotten
I remember very well the day when I really started getting acquainted with the first class of students in the BC Department of Meilun Canada: March 2019, 3. Because on this day, I was honored to become their homeroom teacher. The students who are new to BC G28 are the same as the third graders I remember, they are self-disciplined, they are serious in class, they often bury their heads in hard work until their teachers ask them to rest.
After a period of contact, what I felt most deeply was that they all had clear goals, not only learning for the sake of learning, but also thinking about the purpose of learning. I think this is influenced by the learning philosophy of the British Columbia curriculum in Canada: tailoring learning plans for students to meet their own development, emphasizing that students as an independent individual have a plan for their own lives, take responsibility for social responsibility, and encourage each student to learn independently.
Pay attention to details, use the strengths of the classroom, and strive to create a good class atmosphere
A good learning atmosphere is inseparable from the construction of class learning style. I will privately collect the inadvertent behaviors that students think affect their learning and their most hated behaviors through individual chats with students, etc., and after sorting them out, I will list these bad behaviors that affect the learning of others, affect the learning atmosphere of the class, and affect the foreign teacher's class in the morning inspection or class meeting, so that the students with these bad behaviors can realize and correct their behavior in time, and the class style is getting better and better.
For most students, the process of learning is boring and even painful. But the Canadian BC curriculum gave me a different experience, I think the system of the BC curriculum is very good, overall: the depth of the BC curriculum is not as deep as the Chinese curriculum, but the breadth of learning will be wider; The curriculum in BC is moderately difficult, flexible and diversified in the curriculum, with prominent focus, strengthening the English long board, starting from the end, looking at education from the perspective of "life planning", and refusing "one test for life"; The BC curriculum focuses on developing students' English ability, thinking ability and social activity ability to ensure that graduates can quickly integrate into the study and life of Western society; The BC curriculum is a complete high school diploma education, with equal emphasis on arts and sciences, and the learning is more systematic and comprehensive.
In the process of leading classes, I often use such a curriculum to reduce the pressure on students, encourage students to give full play to their own advantages, do not have to deliberately pursue balance in their coursework, and worry that their shortcomings will drag them down and become a stumbling block on the road to further education.
The school season still insists on comprehensive intellectual and physical development
The study life at the graduation stage is intense, and different students will have some irritability at different stages, so it is necessary to take some methods in time for channeling. I usually pay attention to understanding the psychological dynamics of students from various channels, take the initiative to communicate with students, become a reliable friend of students, and try to achieve the purpose of education through communication.
In the process, the BC curriculum helped me again. The BC curriculum pays great attention to the all-round development of students, physical education is a compulsory subject, at the same time, BC teachers will organize club activities every week, such as literature club, mathematics club, frisbee club, cooking club, etc.; The BC Department also organizes different Canadian activities to help students better understand Canadian culture and cultivate students' leadership and social responsibility. A wide range of courses and after-school activities provide students with opportunities for all-round development and find an outlet for emotional release. For example, the Frisbee club, which the whole class likes, after the math and physics classes of brain cells, students change into sportswear and gather in the playground for a hearty Frisbee competition; In the sultry afternoon without class, there was no intention to brush up on the questions, and the group of three or two came to a high-level PK with the physical education teacher... After exercising, I feel better and pay more attention when I study again.
The application went smoothly, and it is difficult to say goodbye
Thanks to the advantages of the British Columbia curriculum in Canada and the careful and thoughtful further education services of Meilun International, half a year before the application season, each student in our class quickly determined the direction and major of their university application, carefully considered their actual level, and formulated phased learning goals and detailed study plans.
Here, I would like to congratulate the 12 students of the G19 graduating class of BC once again on receiving pre-admission offers from many famous universities in the world, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and other places. Canada's Macquarie Medical Doctoral Ranking Top 83 Comprehensive Coverage!! More than 50% of students are admitted to the world's top 20 universities!! More than 100% of students receive university scholarships!! Students who have applied to eight prestigious universities in Australia have a <>% acceptance rate!! It fully shows that BC curriculum study can not only apply to Canadian famous schools, but also be a bridge to famous schools around the world.
Finally, I wish the students can break out of their own starry sky with their unique talent and diligence; The teacher encouraged you to be strong in a foreign country and experience the beauty of this world with your heart. Teachers also have to remind students not to indulge, let alone waver, and do not forget the instructions of parents and teachers' instructions in difficult times. Heartfelt wishes to the students, to pursue the dream in your heart freely!
