MIC student Lucia secured third prize at the Harvard CTB (China Thinks Big) Global Finals with her research "Single Mothers' Fathering Practices." Her study explored how single mothers navigate parenting challenges by assuming dual parental roles, finding that while they strive to compensate for the absence of a father figure, societal support remains crucial.
Last year, Teresa advanced to the global round, and this year, Lucia continued Mellen’s winning streak in the competition. These successes reflect our students' continuous breakthroughs in innovative research and global competitiveness.
