G8 course selection seminar

Time flies. The 8th grade of the UK department is about to finish the course of Check Point, and the 9th grade students are about to study IGCSE courses. At 4 PM on June 12, 2020, the Teaching Office organized the G8 course selection meeting. Director Xin explained the meeting mainly from the following aspects: 1) Two-year courses 2) Each student is required to take at least 5 subjects 3) Exams take place in May-June of each year 2) IGCSE course selection Guide 1) Always based on their potential major choice 2) Students' personal interests and passions come first 3) Balance interests and abilities 4) Consult subject teachers 3. Support and advice to students Support from the school includes: in-school learning support (holiday camp); Implement stratified teaching; Language center intensive program (set up advanced class, sprint class); CIE test services, IELTS test center supporting services; EX-Plan, etc. Tips from schools include: improving IELTS scores early; Lay a good foundation for each subject, and pay attention to the mid-term examination/final examination /CIE model examination; Participate in various academic competitions to improve competitiveness. After Director Xin's detailed explanation, G8 students and parents have a clear understanding of the curriculum of Grade 9. After this meeting, I believe that G8 students can choose the right courses according to their personal situation.
