Education is a warm two-way journey. When families and schools walk hand in hand, they can gather a powerful force to support children's growth. Recently, the Parent-Teacher Meeting for the UK Department of MIC was grandly held. School leaders, teachers and parents gathered together to jointly map out the growth blueprint for children and discuss the bright future of education.

With "respect, understanding, communication and promotion" as its core, this parent-teacher meeting was carefully designed with three key sessions: class meetings, grade-level assemblies and one-on-one teacher consultations. To ensure the high-quality delivery of the meeting, school leaders and all teachers prepared months in advance—organising students' growth records and creating detailed teaching reports—to showcase students' academic and personal development trajectories at school to parents in a comprehensive and multi-dimensional manner.

At the class meetings, homeroom teachers acted as "growth record keepers". Using rich images, videos and materials, they vividly presented students' academic breakthroughs and progress, and shared their wonderful moments in club activities and campus competitions. From focused discussions in the classroom to striving figures on the sports field, from confident performances in art shows to warm actions in volunteer services—every detail made parents deeply feel their children's vitality and diverse development on the campus.

The subsequent grade-level assemblies fully demonstrated MIC's educational wisdom of "teaching students in accordance with their aptitudes". The PG&IG1 grade focused on students' future development, interpreting academic planning from a professional perspective to help students and parents clarify their growth paths. The IG2 grade conducted in-depth analysis and explanation around the A1 grade curriculum system and key matters for the next semester. The AS grade conducted a thorough review of mock exam results, providing practical suggestions to students and parents on subject knowledge points, exam skills and preliminary preparations for university applications. The A2 grade focused on pre-departure preparations for studying abroad, offering all-round support for students' overseas study journeys—covering visa application, luggage packing and adaptation to life in a foreign country.

In addition to focusing on students' individual development, the school also took this opportunity to fully present its educational philosophy, advanced teaching facilities and future development plans to parents. MIC has always adhered to the original aspiration of "student-centred education" and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive learning ecosystem to provide students with high-quality educational resources. This philosophy has won high recognition and enthusiastic responses from parents, who have expressed full confidence and expectations for the school's future.

During the one-on-one communication session, parents and teachers engaged in in-depth dialogues. Parents actively put forward questions and suggestions with concern and expectations for their children's growth; teachers, with professional attitudes and patient answers, discussed personalised education plans with parents. The collision of ideas and integration of perspectives continuously deepened the trust and understanding between families and the school, laying a solid foundation for the development of subsequent educational work.

Breaking through the limitations of traditional models, this parent-teacher meeting featured a high sense of participation and in-depth interaction, fully demonstrating MIC's respect for every parent and attention to every child. The school has not only built a bridge for family-school communication but also constructed a good ecosystem for collaborative education.

In the future, MIC will continue to deepen its commitment to education, uphold the "student-centred" philosophy, continuously innovate educational teaching models, and create richer and more diverse learning scenarios to support students' all-round development. At the same time, the school will further strengthen close cooperation with parents, consolidate the joint efforts of families and the school, and work together to safeguard the growth path of children and write a brilliant chapter of education!
