At the sharing session, Cui Xiwen, an outstanding graduate of the Class of 2020, shared her learning experience at Cambridge University. "Cambridge has a lot of learning and activity resources, such as small class sizes and pairing tutors for everyone; Club activities will provide many opportunities to meet with top famous HR and get good internship opportunities. She said that Cambridge's campus is rich in resources, and there is a lot of pressure to study and exam, so it is important to develop the habit of planning time reasonably, working hard at ordinary times, and not rushing to the exam.

Talking about the experience of preparing for the Oxbridge interview that year, Cui Xiwen said that being good at thinking is the key. "The selection of prestigious schools is not only to assess the ability to score questions, but also to care about whether students have independent thinking ability and critical thinking, so students pay more attention to the process of learning and thinking in the process of learning, improve their expression, and be more favored by universities."

Danyi Cheung, a Class of 2021, was admitted to the University of Hong Kong for Natural Sciences upon graduation, and after studying at HKU for one year, reapplied for admission to UCL Applied Medical Sciences, and will be studying in London in September this year. Dedicated to practicing medicine, she shared her one-year study experience at HKU and her journey of reapplying.

"HKU's learning environment is very good, and the course pressure is not small, and in the first year of study, in addition to professional courses, you need to take a number of general courses, such as social sciences, history and politics." Zhang Danyi said that HKU's curriculum can exercise students' all-round quality development, but because she is interested in medicine and hopes to work in the medical system in the future, she chose to reapply to the university and successfully obtained admission to University College London (UCL).

The threshold for applying for medical majors in foreign universities is not low, and the development path needs to be planned, and it even takes at least 7-8 years to study. "Being able to enter medical school at UCL has helped me a lot to continue applying for medical studies in the future." Zhang Danyi said she will enter UCL's medical school for study and internship, and plans to stay in the UK to study clinical medicine after three years of undergraduate.

"When I first arrived in the UK, I was quarantined alone for <> days, and the process was very difficult. But then I made more friends at school, and I also contacted many Meilun alumni in London, and actively interacted with people, so that I could adapt well to life abroad. Li Yu suggested that students living alone overseas learn to be good at socializing, Meilun has a large alumni group in the UK, if you encounter difficulties, you can seek help through alumni.

Du Wenzhe, a graduate of the Class of 2021, shared his experience of applying to the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which mentioned the preparation skills for the MAT and TMUA exams, both of which are entrance exams for applicants to mathematics-related majors to measure students' mathematical ability. "In terms of difficulty, MAT will be more difficult than TMUA, and I mainly use the method of brushing questions to prepare for the exam." Du Wenzhe said that in the months before the exam, he practiced with real questions, and the key to these two mathematics exams is to master the knowledge points of the A-Level mathematics course, consolidate the foundation, and practice more training, so that he can prepare for the exam efficiently.

In addition to IELTS, you can also choose other English tests recognized by the university's official website, such as ESL, PTE, etc. Tan Zhiqing only used 5 days to prepare for the exam, got a full score in the PTE test language score, she said that the most important thing in English learning is to create a language environment, Meilun provides a good English communication environment, students can also listen to podcasts and other English audio programs, strengthen language input, can better improve language expression skills.

Li Xuan, a 2022 graduate, was admitted to Imperial College London, and she participated in the EPQ project in Year 11 to study the relationship between Alzheimer's disease and heavy metals, and received a Grade A* grade, which gave her a lot of points for her further education application.

"I prefer biology, so when looking for activity projects, I will consciously look for related topics. The process of the project research course is more important than the result, and it is necessary to enjoy the process and learn solutions from the challenges and difficulties. Li Xuan mentioned that the experience of the EPQ project in the research process is more conducive to her growth than winning the award, and integrating these experiences when writing essays can better show the university her personal love for the profession and the ability to learn specialized research.
