In the afternoon (12 February), the MIC campus was decorated with lanterns and colours for a lantern festival.
On the day of the event, the campus seemed to be transported back to the prosperous times of a thousand years ago. A large colourful lantern on the central lawn became one of the highlights of the event.

This lamp was based on the classic design of Foshan lanterns, with a tall and lofty body and beautifully drawn patterns on the surface, perfectly showcasing the traditional cultural treasures of the Foshan Lantern Festival. Staff and students were dressed in beautiful traditional costumes, which added a unique flavour.
A wide range of interactive games were set up in the garden party area, attracting many teachers and students, including riddle guessing, fan-wind chicken race, sugar painting and lacquer fan. There was also a live band performance. Everyone had a wonderful time at the Lantern Festival.
