Recent MIC students have achieved remarkable success in multiple prestigious international academic competitions in 2026, spanning five major fields: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, and Design. A total of 61 awards were won, with several students advancing to higher-level academic camps and global rounds. This is not just a report card; it is strong evidence of MIC students' willingness to challenge themselves and their commitment to continuous academic excellence.
The PhysicsBowl US High School Physics Competition is known as "America's most influential high school physics competition." It not only tests students' deep understanding of physics concepts but also examines their mental agility and modeling ability under time constraints.
Four MIC students performed steadily in this competition, and all won awards:

Among them, Chen Binghan successfully advanced to the Cambridge Physics Camp; Chen Binghan and Liang Chen both advanced to the PhysicsBowl Asia Camp.
The British Physics Competition (SPC) is a key stepping stone to the advanced BPhO series, placing special emphasis on the integration of physics reasoning and experimental thinking.

The 3rd Raffles Design Star Creative Competition is organized by Raffles Design Institute, a renowned Asian design institution, aiming to discover young designers with international vision and original expression.
Student Yuan Ling stood out among participants from multiple countries with her unique design thinking and visual expression, winning a Silver Award.
This is a significant breakthrough for MIC in purely design-oriented international competitions, proving that art and logic are not opposites but two sides of creativity.
Math Kangaroo (MK) is one of the largest youth math competitions in the world. Its problems are flexible, balancing fun and depth, and focus on mathematical thinking rather than rote calculation.

The UK Chemistry Olympiad (UKChO) is an authoritative competition run by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Its problems are closely linked to university-level chemistry content and demand strong logical reasoning and chemical intuition.
Seven MIC students achieved excellent results in this competition:
Global Gold Award & Cambridge Chemistry Camp Qualification: Chen Kaihong, Hou Kaicheng
Global Silver Award: Luo Yuxiang, Liang Chen, Wan Lingjia, Huang Zihan, Liu Hangyu
The two Gold Award winners also earned places at the Cambridge Chemistry Camp, placing them among the country's most outstanding young chemistry students.
The CEFC Cambridge Economics and Finance Challenge (Preliminary Round) is designed by a team with Cambridge University backgrounds. It integrates micro and macroeconomics with financial decision-making, serving as a key testing ground for high school students aiming for advanced economics competitions and business school applications.
