The time was just right for a warm gathering. On November 7, 2025, the Parent Meeting of the UK Programme at MIC came to a successful conclusion. It was a two-way educational dialogue and an in-depth discussion on growth. With the active participation and strong support of parents, this meeting wrote a warm chapter of home-school co-education.
Centred on the core concepts of "Qualitfy first teaching and student engagement", this parent meeting tailored exclusive communication paths for parents of different grades. In the morning session, parents of Grade IG1 & IG2 gathered in the Lecture Hall. Principal Simon Feng, Vice Academic Principal of the UK Programme Daniel, and CAS Teacher Su Zhaoxi broke down key growth milestones layer by layer, covering everything from academic feedback to IGCSE university application planning. Later, during the homeroom meetings and one-on-one consultations in the Stadium, homeroom teachers and subject teachers acted as "growth consultants", carefully answering parents' questions about the details of subject courses and the development of students’ study skills. .
The afternoon sessions for Grade AS and A2 were equally informative. Parents of Grade AS gained a clear understanding of the dual planning timeline for study and university applications through the plenary session, and gained in-depth insights into their children's school performance during homeroom communication. For Grade A2 parents, the focus was on the core of university applications—CAS Teacher Xiong Yuxuan’s sharing of key information gave a much-needed boost to families in the crucial sprint stage. From the Lecture Hall to the classrooms, from group sharing to individual conversations, every scene was filled with deep care for the children’s future.
The sight of parents taking careful notes and engaging actively, complemented by the teachers’ patient and professional explanations, became the most touching scene on campus.
Education is not a solo journey, but a journey where families and schools walk hand in hand. The successful conclusion of this parent meeting marks a new beginning. MIC will continue to build a bridge with love, walk in unity with every parent, safeguard the growth of our children, and wait eagerly to see them shine brightly on the international stage!
