This morning, the campus of MIC (Majestic International College) welcomed a group of "light-chasing teenagers." Selected from a pool of outstanding applicants, they gathered together with boundless curiosity about business, law, and the global market—all to welcome a distinguished academic giant who traveled from afar: Professor Stefan Enchelmaier, tenured full professor of law at the University of Oxford.
That's right—today marks the official opening of MIC x KingLead Global Academician Workshop Business Leadership & Corporate Competence!
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Feng Xiaosheng, Principal of MIC, struck a chord with students right from the start: "Once you step into an international high school, your understanding of 'learning' begins to change—it's not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about learning how to learn."
Principal Feng noted that Oxford University has cultivated more than 20 British Prime Ministers and over 70 Nobel laureates, making it one of the world's premier academic institutions. And now, a professor from Oxford has come all the way to MIC—how rare an opportunity is that?
He further encouraged the students: "Be brave enough to ask questions, and also to answer them. There's no right or wrong in your answers—as long as you speak up with courage, that's the best participation!"
The "soul" of this research workshop is Professor Stefan Enchelmaier, a tenured full professor at Oxford's Faculty of Law, specializing in EU internal market law, competition law, and comparative contract law. With profound academic achievements and decades of global teaching experience, he has mentored hundreds of outstanding legal and business professionals.
